I have recently moved back from the Yukon with early retirement. I enjoy children and have found being a nanny/helping families with child care very rewarding. Recently retired and moved back to Alberta from the Yukon. I have 4 adult children, 1 grandchild, am 'auntie' to many friends children and work part-time as a nanny to an amazing toddler. My current nanny job has irregular hours/days that change each month and I am interested in doing some occasional/part-time child-care to fill in the gaps. Although, my first commitment is to my regular nanny job, I can commit to long-term. I am able to advise on availability around the 22nd of the month prior and typically have about 12 - 17 free days per month. For formal education, 1st year Social Work and 1st year Business Admin were completed in Calgary and I worked for the Yukon Government for 25 years in H&SS/Finance and WCB/OHS. I have had a vulnerable sector RCMP check done in the past due to my workplace and can request again if needed. I am good with all ages of children as well as most pets.
