Hello! My name is Sophia. I am a lively German exchange student pursuing a major in English with the aspiration to become a secondary education teacher. Currently, I'm based in Abbotsford, BC for a term abroad. As a future educator, I have developed excellent English language skills which would be beneficial in helping with homework or tutoring. Despite not having formal work experience, my educational background paired with my inherent affection for children gives me confidence in my ability to provide reliable and nurturing care. I have also assisted my parents in caring for my three younger siblings from time to time. I am interested in a full-time, live-in nanny position. I am adept at performing various tasks including light housekeeping, meal prepping for children, running errands or grocery shopping, transporting children, keeping the kitchen tidy, and even caring for pets. Although I'm comfortable with children from different age groups, ranging from toddlers aged 1-2 years to school-aged children 6-9 years, I prefer managing no more than three children at a time. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, whether it's hiking or snowboarding. On quieter days, you can find me reading a good book. Regarding my availability, I am quite flexible and can adjust to your schedule, being available mornings through evenings, Monday through Friday. My intended start date is from 1st to 31st January 2024. With my first aid training and a promise of responsible childcare, I provide assurance for the well-being of your family.
