Part-time Nanny, 25-30 Hrs / Wk We are a family with two adorable children ages 3 and 5, living in Lower Westmount. Both parents work. The children do to daycare in the morning (and the eldest one will enter kindergarten in late August). The work involves picking up the 3-year-old child at the day-care center at 1pm (it could be 3pm but our preference is for the person to start at 1 pm), picking up the 5-year-old kindergarten child at 3:30pm starting in September, driving them to their activities if there are any (swimming, dancing, etc.), prepare dinner and serve it, and be around until the parents return at maximum 6:30pm. The desired schedule is from 1pm to 6:30pm, but we could also consider a schedule from 3pm to 6:30pm if another 4-5-hour time slot can be added at the beginning of the week to help prepare the week's dinners, do some washing, go shopping once or twice if required, etc. Note that we already have a cleaning lady. We are looking for a dynamic and engaging nanny, who is creative and likes to play and do a variety of activities. Our children are lively, full of energy, always ready to have fun and curious to learn new things. We stay mainly in Montreal during the week, but from time to time we would like that the nanny accompanies us on a weekday (for example, on a Friday just before a long weekend), or that she can baby-sit from the cottage for a week or two in the summer (the cottage is an hour away from Montreal). Ideally, you would also be available for occasional evening or week-end caretaking (sick child or educational leave). We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of full-time or regular part-time experience as a nanny, who is already in Canada and has a Canadian driver's license for at least a few years. *Having a car is necessary. We would love if the person could speak French or English to the kids.
