We are a family living in Verdun, seeking a warm, kind-hearted, caring and patient Nanny to support us with our three children aged 1, 3, and 5 years old. I am an accountant and my husband is an engineer who has his own business. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about becoming a long-term addition to our family. Your help will be required for 3 afternoons per week from around 2:30 pm to 6:30/7 pm. The ideal start date would be the 10th of December, 2024 so that you can get to know the kids before the holidays. I will be going back to work in January 2025. Your responsibilities will include: * Picking up the kids from school and daycare, both of which are a short walk from our house (4-5 blocks) * Preparing nutritious snacks and dinners for the kids. Sometimes prepping school lunch for the next day. * Light housekeeping duties such as keeping the kitchen tidy and doing the children's laundry * Helping the kids do their chores such as unpacking their school bags and lunch boxes, cleaning up their toys, helping to set the table for dinner, etc * Engaging the children in fun and educational activities at the park, library, at home, and in our backyard. This includes arts and crafts, reading, and playing (no screen time). * Assisting with bath-time in the evenings This is a part-time, live-out position with working hours per week being less than 20 hours. A driver's license is not necessary as transportation of the children will be mainly on foot due to closeness of the locations (even in the winter). A background in childhood education and CPR are an asset. We're looking for someone who is responsible and calm, and can uphold a pleasant, fun, and clean environment for our kids when they're not at school.
