Main Duties:
Supervise and care for the child in employer residence;
Bathe and dress the child;
Oversee the child activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer;
Instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development;
Tend to the emotional well-being of the child;
Child is hyperactive and need special attention;
Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents;
Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and
exercise;
Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals for the child;
Putting child down for naps;
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
Take the child to and from school and to appointments;
Maintain a healthy environment in the home.
Special Requirements:
The child suffers from Eczema from the age of 3 months old. In the past 8 years, huge amount of effort and care has been put into treating this condition so that the symptoms can be under control. As with all eczema patients, flare-ups are always possible so the applicant need to be vigilant and always take the following preventative measures:
- Moisturize of whole body 2-3 times a day
- Know when to use prescription medication
- Take lukewarm baths/showers following specific instructions
- Gently pat skin dry with soft towel - do not rub
- Apply moisturizer within 3 minutes after bathing to "lock in" moisture
- Keep fingernails short to avoid scratching from breaking the skin
- Know when to use humidifier
