We are a young family of three, including a mama, 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl. I have recently returned to work on a graduated schedule (increasing to F/T after 6-8 weeks), and am looking for P/T leading up to F/T support through the summer months and to establish a flexible schedule that meets all (including yours!) of our needs come the school year and following months. We are seeking a compassionate, patient, responsible, flexible, active and open minded person to join our family. The position will include a priority on the safety and well being of the children, some meal prep assistance and providing meals, light housework, driving the children to various places (including appointments/scheduled events), up to one evening per week childcare support, and other variables we discuss and agree upon. The children are creative, high energy, thoughtful and kind beings who will benefit from the support of someone whose intention it is to mutually benefit from engaging in each others lives. A background or training/experience/interest in working with children who have ADHD/Sensory Processing, are gifted, or have experienced the loss of a parent is considered an asset. We are outdoor oriented, easy-going, and are excited at the prospect of broadening our life experiences and continuing our goal to thrive with your support. The position has the potential of a live-in option (in private quarters), which is open for discussion.
