Hello! My husband and I are looking for a loving, confident, fun, creative, and reliable part-time nanny with a flexible schedule, available to begin August 22nd, 2016 (with days throughout the summer, if you'd like). A Mon/Tues/Wed schedule would work best - about 20 hours per week. My work schedule is unconventional, and I will be home for some of your work days; but we can talk more about specifics when we meet. We are a young, energetic family. We have three boys (currently 4.5 yrs old, 2.5 yrs old, and 9 months) and live in West Point Grey, with two terrific parks nearby and a big back yard to play in. Our boys love to dig outside with their trucks and shovels, jump on the trampoline, ride their bikes, and for quiet time, they love to read books, listen to stories, and eat snacks! The shift for each day of work would be from approximately 6:45am-1:45pm. The schedule would involve walking the boys to and from school (8-10 minute walk), and putting the youngest down for his nap in between. Help with house cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping/small errands would be expected, as well. We strive to provide our children with firm discipline and strong values. At the heart of it all, though, we believe in laying a core foundation of play, imagination, and good humour. If you have skills in education, language, music, art, or sport, we are keen to expose our boys to whatever gifts you have to offer.
