We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to care for our two-year-old child and newborn due in August. We are a loving family located in Arbutus are of Vancouver, and we are looking for someone reliable and nurturing to join our household on either a full-time or part-time basis. Responsibilities: - Provide attentive and loving care for our two-year-old child, engaging in age-appropriate activities and ensuring their safety at all times. - Assist with newborn care, including feeding, diaper changing, and soothing techniques. (baby due in August) - Create a stimulating and nurturing environment for both children to thrive in. - Maintain a consistent daily routine for both children, including nap times, meal times, and playtime. - Light housekeeping duties related to the children's care, such as tidying up toys and children's areas, washing bottles, and children's laundry. - Take kids to 2 hour drop in day care at the Arbutus Club - Take kids to park and play areas Requirements: - Prior experience working as a nanny or caregiver, preferably with experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously. - Genuine love for children and a nurturing personality. - Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities. - CPR and first aid certification (preferred but not required). - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide regular updates to parents on children's activities and progress. - Non-smoker and comfortable with pets (we have a friendly family dog). Schedule: - Full-time or part-time schedule negotiable. - Hours may vary but we require our nanny to be on time and punctual - Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends may be required with advance notice.
