Searching for responsible, warm, communicative, detail oriented, nanny for a mature 5-year-old boy.
I am looking to build a relationship with a nanny for my son. I am in the entertainment business and am coming in town a lot to work on projects. Right now I have a job that happens between 10/26-11/3. The days will be sprinkled throughout this time. I need someone who has a car and can drive. Here is what I'm looking for for my bright, kind, well spoken and fun 5 year old boy dob 3/9/18: 1. You are kind, do not contradict children but support their curiosity. 2. You give options to child. 3. You are gentle, you do not use any force with child. 4. You listen to child and focus on his needs and converse with him respectfully. 5. You keep your focus on child and not on other work. social media, personal conversations you may have. 6. You are respectful of other's privacy and do not post child or location on social media. 7. You are clean, drug and smoke free. 8. You simply like kids. :) 9. You are comfortable being on location for one night when mom has to film something and get you a separate hotel room. 10. You can wake up early and be on time. 11. You are willing to sign a NDA for the privacy of mom and son. 12. You like to play games and activities with child. (you use technology sparingly) 13. You are comfortable making sure child is eating well, drinking water, uses the bathroom and you plan to make sure that his physical needs are met. 14. You can help with homework in a fun and engaging way 15. You are a good driver and have a car. 16. You communicate and follow key points mom shares. 17. You are very safe by the pool and do not leave child's side. (If child swims) 18. You are willing to go to museums and other outtings for child enrichment. 19. You keep mom updated on child and allow child to speak to mom whenever he wants if she is available. 20. If child cries you use phrases such as "It's okay to be sad, I understand your feelings, I'm here for you, lets try to work this out, Mom loves you and it's okay to miss her" etc. You don't say things like "stop crying" no sarcasm or curt remarks. I am putting this list together because I think it cuts to the chase of what I'm looking for!! I like communication and respect, this job should be beneficial for all of us but it's super important that my son's wellbeing is #1 so please think about that when you apply!
