My wife and I are looking for a part-time nanny / housekeeper for our daughter (almost 3 years old) in our Toronto Beaches home. The position is for 3 days a week from 11:30am to 5:00pm (approx. 17 hours per week) with some flexibility on days required. Our daughter has recently started pre-school M-F 9:00am to 11:30am. A typical day would start by picking her up from school at 11:30am, bringing her home for lunch and putting her down for a nap (naps range from 0-2 hours). House duties during nap-time include general tidying, house-cleaning and laundry. When she wakes from her nap, your focus is back to keeping her active and engaged. You are someone who likes to be social, can laugh, dance, smile and sing, but will also teach, read and be very safety conscious with her. Of course there is feeding, dressing, changing diapers / potty training, putting her down for her nap and all the routine things that must be done, but that goes without saying – she’s a little toddler. What is important to us, is the quality time spent with her - the fun factor. Ideally, you are energetic and youthful, but mature and responsible, have full time experience with young children, have references, CPR and first aid, are a non-smoker and speak English fluently.
