Our family of four seeks either a part-time, live-out nanny or a part-time nanny-housekeeper. We have a 4-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, both in full-time school. While the job is only intended to last until the end of June, we would be willing to rehire again in late summer for the 2015-16 school year. For nanny only, the hours would be 3:30 to approx. 6 pm Mon-Fri. A small amount of help getting dinner ready would be required, but role would be 95 child focussed. For nanny-housekeeper, the hours would be early afternoon (e.g. 1 or 2 pm) to early evening (e.g. 5:30 or 6:30 pm) Mon-Fri. Involves housekeeping (e.g. load/unload dishwasher, laundry, dinner prep, keep kitchen and main floor of house clean and tidy) followed by school pick-up, homework/play time and help getting dinner ready. Our children can be challenging so we need a caregiver who is able to naturally and easily command respect while being warm and fun loving - being able to strike the right balance is key. A good command of the English language in order to communicate with teachers, parents, etc. and help with homework is important. Must be a complete non smoker.
