We are a professional couple in the Junction looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our 11 month old son beginning in mid-May 2014. You must have at least three years' experience in nannying, child care or au pair work. You are a mature, energetic, trustworthy, punctual and well-presented individual. You will be required to work a regular work week, on weekdays within the hours of 7:45 am – 6:00 pm, with occasional overtime. You must be a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: · ensuring the safety of our son and home at all times; · engaging and stimulating our son through play, games, reading and physical activity; · attending pre-arranged programs with our son; · preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for our son; · putting our son down for naps; · changing our son's diapers and clothing, as well as washing and drying his clothes as required; · occasional bathing of our son; and · some cleaning, cooking, general housekeeping and grocery shopping. Our expectation is that no television will be watched during the day. You must have attended a CPR and First Aid course. A certificate in Early Childhood Education will also be highly regarded.
