Our family is looking for a nanny to care for our 2 sons and maintain order in our Toronto Beaches home! You will be taking care of a 2 year old and a 3 month old while mom works from home (and occasionally from her company's office downtown). Your responsibilities with our toddler son will include reading, playing, arts/crafts, special projects, playing outside, going to the library, going for walks, etc. There will also be a few times during the day where you will also watch and play with the baby. In addition to watching the kids, we are looking for someone responsible, proactive and organized who can keep our home in order. This includes making dinner, filling/emptying the dishwasher, taking out the garbage, keeping the kitchen clean, managing the grocery list, fridge/freezer and proactively identifying any other household and child-related things that need to be done. We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of toddler and infant experience. CPR/First Aid training and French or another language is an asset and early childhood education is a big plus. Most importantly, we are looking for someone high energy, very engaging, warm and caring, attentive, reliable, responsible and detail oriented who can help our sons learn and develop. Our 2 year old son is in daycare Tuesdays and Thursdays, so the schedule would be as follows: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: Full days caring for toddler and helping with the baby Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9am-6pm, including nearby daycare pickup Total hours: 40 - 45h/wk The wage will be competitive based on experience.
