Milton, ON Seeking an experienced Nanny for semi-formal family style residence. A full time live-in position with the primary responsibility being child care. Must be patient, trustworthy and nurturing. Applicants must be flexible with schedules and comfortable working with other house staff. Summer season will require cottage visits. Winter season will require a trip to Florida. Private accommodation will be provided in residence. Primary Responsibilities: • Daily responsibility of caring for four school age children, to provide a safe and nurturing environment • To assist with homework, driving to and from after-school activities, and bedtime routine • Assisting and organizing of activities for children with mother, including assisting with doctor appointments / visits • Position requires applicants to be flexible with schedules if needed for additional evenings with notice • Light cooking/food preparation for children • Grocery shopping Applicant Qualities: • Previous nanny experience in a semi-formal style residence is a must • Must be flexible with work schedules and accommodating to being available on occasion • Applicants must be patient, trustworthy and nurturing as role model for children • A polished professional who is flexible and energetic, who can work as a team player with existing staff • Must have a sense and respect of boundaries, exercise discretion, privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times • Applicants must be service oriented, pleasant with good communication skills • A valid driver’s license is a must • First Aid training and certificates is preferable • Must be eligible to work in Canada
