I'm currently seeking a kind and loving live-in nanny to look after my energetic 7-year-old boy. We reside in Cabbagetown (at the intersection of Parliament and Wellesley), and our family includes not only my two sons but also our friendly dog and a cat. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking our 7-year-old to and from school, assisting with his homework, managing after-school activities, and overseeing his overall well-being. In addition to this, we'll also need help to keep our house clean, prepare meals, do the laundry, and handle light housekeeping tasks.We also have pets, so pet care would also be appreciated. No dog walking required. The position is full-time, with a flexible schedule during the weekdays, especially when the kids are in school. We don't expect the nanny to be tied down to household chores from 9:30 to 3, Monday to Friday. Applicants should be comfortable with a live-in arrangement as we can provide a private room in our basement complete with a separate shower and bathroom. While our older son, a 10-year-old, is quite independent and requires minimal supervision, we would be happy if the nanny could engage with him occasionally. We are not requiring a driver's license and even though there's no need for a personal car, any transportation expenses you incur for the child, such as TTC/Uber fares, will be covered by us, along with food cost. The preferred start date is the 1st of November 2023, providing an abundant time frame to secure the right individual for us. We anticipate a work schedule encapsulating mornings and mid-days from Monday to Friday, amounting to 30-40 hours/week. Our ideal candidate is someone willing to commit to at least a two-year period, assuring continuity of care for our boys.
