We are seeking a passionate, experienced childcare provider with plenty of energy and a warm, calm demeanor. Interest and experience with nurturing newborns into infancy and beyond, establishing important foundational habits, behaviours and developmental milestones. Experience with sensitive or colicky babies a huge asset. We are initially looking for someone to come for approximately 4-5 hours each morning M-F to help prepare healthy meals (lunches and dinners), take care of our 3 month old baby girl to give mum a break (1-2 bottle feeds, diaper changes, soothing and playing), and do some light housekeeping like keeping the kitchen tidy and doing some laundry when needed. Also looking for 1 flexible evening shift per week of 4-5 hours childcare to give mum and dad a night off. Potential to expand this role in future. Preference for finding someone for a long-term relationship with our family. Must have experience/training with: -newborn care from 2 months+ -bottle feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, etc -giving oral medications -sensitive temperaments and colicky babies -first aid and CPR for newborns and infants -experience with establishing good feeding and sleeping schedules and habits Experience that's nice to have: -sleep training -ECE training -special feeding challenges eg reflux Must be from a non-smoking household.
