I am looking for a caring, responsible, dependable nanny for my 8 year old son. Must be hard working, energetic, honest and fun who is able to maintain discipline. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Picking/Dropping off to school & activities, taking him to park etc. and playing with him • Creating a loving and fun environment and maintaining a healthy routine • Helping child with school work and engaging in other educational activities • Engaging the child in various activities, eg., craft, gardening, house work • Supervising the kids that have come for a play date  • Light housekeeping and meal prepping QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be able to engage the child in physical activity and avoid TV, and digital entertainment (Xbox, ipod etc.) • Strong work ethics • Excellent references • Non-smoker • No criminal record SCHEDULE: Right now I drop my son to school (at 7:30am for the before school program) and his dad picks him up from school at 2:30pm.His dad will be going on business trips for a week (or so), every month. So the schedule that I am looking for is: • 6:00am to 8:00am (M-F) ongoing - Dropping him to school • PLUS 2:30 to 4:30pm (M-F) when his dad is on business trips - Picking him from school, preparing meal or • 6:00am to 4:30 when his dad is on business trip and there is no school (as summer holidays are approaching) GET A BREAK YMCA is walking distance away. Sometimes you can take him to drop-in sessions at YMCA and get a break to read a book or work out in the gym; and let the YMCA staff do the job. (You will still need to be on-site in YMCA; ie., cannot go grocery shopping to the next door IGA etc.). Compensation:  • $10.25/hour without car • $12.00/hour if you use your car to drive the child (Must have a valid driving license with clean driving record and reliable car)
