I'm looking for part time child care for my two children. I have a 1 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. I've never left my kids with a stranger so I will only do so if I find the right person! I'm looking for someone who is "with it" - loves kids, likes being outside and is extremely dependable. I want my kids to be safe and have lots of fun with whomever is watching them. Around our house, we usually go to the park or a drop in program almost every day, spend lots of time outside playing, and watch very little TV. I want someone who is on board with that, has lots of energy and whom is totally trustworthy. I am looking for someone who has English as a first language. I will also require a criminal records check. Our situation is a bit tricky - we live near 156th st and 20th ave in Surrey, but we will be starting a major renovation of our home in the next few weeks, so will be living in East Richmond (5 minutes from the North end of the Alex Fraser Bridge) for approximately 3 months, before moving back into our place in Surrey. I would ideally like to have the same person watch them while we're in Richmond too, but if need be (and I find the right people) I'd have someone while we are in Richmond, then someone else when we're back at home. The hours are every Tuesday (approx 7:30-5), every Wednesday (approx 7:30-12:30) and every second Monday (approximately 7:30-5).
