We are looking for a kind, experienced, trustworthy and positive person to be our full-time nanny, to love and take good care of our one-year-old son and be a part of our family in beautiful Ocean Park, South Surrey, BC. One parent will be working from home full-time and the other will be working from home part-time. The house is large enough that the toddler and nanny will feel like they are alone most of the day except for coffee/lunch breaks, when we may come check on our little one as time allows. The ideal candidate is experienced with toddlers, punctual, trustworthy open and honest, understands developmental milestones, clean and tidy, non-smoker, CPR and first aid certified, and comfortable with having a dog in the house. We would also love to have a francophone nanny if possible! Primary responsibilities are: Caring for the little man, Creating a safe and stimulating environment and actively engaging him (lots of outdoor time, human interaction and communication skills development, reading, no screen time), Meal preparation and feeding, Organizing and keeping his toys/nursery/playroom, kitchen clean, Helping with household duties, laundry and meal preparation, Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including boosters, Eligible to work in Canada, Valid police check, Weekly accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, if required. Schedule: 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Ability to commute/relocate: South Surrey (Ocean Park) V4A 1K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. Experience: Childcare / nanny: 5 years (preferred). Licence/certification: CPR certification (preferred). Driver’s license (preferred).
