Experience with toddlers with autism (loud meltdowns and sensitivity to touch/being held) and cooking/meal prep for dairy allergies and who can stick to routine and timeline. Toddler is premature and can get quite sick around even mild germs so cleanliness and good hand washing/sanitizing is a skill you must be able to practice consistently. -own transportation -loves small dogs and is kind to them -non smoker -fully vaccinated with good hygiene for hand washing and sanitizing -basic tidying of kitchen and living room required -washing of child's laundry -possibly small errands or groceries -cooking a meal with left overs with no dairy* -background check, CPR/first aid for infant/toddler required, ECE certified preferred - minimum 5 years experience preferred -references of past 2 young children familes cared for, special needs preferred -ok working in video monitored home -experience with organizng and creating fun and memorable outings and activities -understanding of autism and must explain how you address these types of behaviours (meltdowns/screaming/sensitivity to touch/being held) and ensure the child's safety** -must have a clear understanding of emotional intelligence and support to toddler and maintain that type of environment; no yelling, attitude, negative comments, or physical redirection toward child is struggling with melt down or at any time!**
