Position Overview: We are looking for a full time nanny to provide care for our little guy while we, both professionals, work from home. The nanny will be responsible for creating an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment for our child, focusing on Montessori concepts. In addition to providing excellent care, the nanny will assist with diaper changes, feeding, light housekeeping duties, and potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities. The opportunity for some weekend work may also be available from time to time. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive and high-quality care for our child while we work from home • Create an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment based on Montessori concepts. • Perform diaper changes and ensure our child's hygiene needs are met. • Assist with feeding, ensuring the provided food is served appropriately. • Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying our child's play area and washing dishes used during childcare. • Prepare light meals for our child/family as needed. • Have an understanding of food allergies and sensitivities to ensure our child's safety. • Potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities, such as swimming, when necessary. Qualifications: Previous experience providing childcare or nanny services is required. • ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) or ECE (Early Childhood Educator) credentials are preferred but not required. • Passing of Vulnerable Sector Screening required (employer will compensate for this record) • Updated CPR and First Aid certifications. • Familiarity with Montessori strategies and concepts is desired. • Possession of a valid driver's license - having access to a vehicle is considered desirable • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
