Full time nanny required for fun and busy family in Richmond with three children ages 7, 5 and 3. The eldest two will be in school full time in the fall and the youngest will be in preschool three days a week. We have a large yard and the kids love to be outdoors. The school and park is across the back fence, with an awesome playground and wading pool. We are looking for someone active that can handle the energy of three young kids! At the same time, you will need to be firm enough to keep things from getting out of hand. Your main duty would be caring for the children, taking them to and from school, and generally providing support and guidance. Keeping the house tidy is second, as we'd rather have a bit of mess as long as our kids are well cared for. Previous experience is an asset, but we primarily want someone warm and caring that enjoys spending time with children. We treat our nanny like part of the family and hope you will think of us the same way! Please note that we do have several pets so you must be comfortable with animals. (Pet care is not part of the job.) Our home is less than a block away from transit. We will provide a vehicle for use on the job when required. Salary will be between $13-18/hour, depending on experience.
