We're looking for a longterm, full-time nanny for our two sons who are ages 2 and 3.5. They are in Montessori full-time during the week (8am - 4pm). We're hoping to find someone who has at least 5 years experience working with children within this age range (nanny, ECE or comparable), someone who is nurturing, patient, creative and has a youthful energy about them to keep up with our kids. During the week responsibilities would include: 1. Running household errands (e.g. grocery shopping, etc) 2. Laundry for the children 3. Caring for them if they are home sick or at home for the day/ week (eg PA Days) 4. Taking them to appointments as needed 5. Pick-up from school a few times during the week 6. Meal prep for the family along with preparing snacks for the boys when they get home 7. Coming up with fun age appropriate activities for them after school or during the day if they are home 8. Light housekeeping 9. Taking the kids to playdates 10. Helping to plan events for the kids (birthdays, etc) Details on home life: 1. Mother primarily works from home full-time 2. Father primarily works downtown Toronto full-time 3. Children are at a Montessori school in Pickering full-time Monday to Friday 4. We live in Pickering - major intersection is Whites Rd and Kingston Rd 5. We have two cats - noted in case of allergies Requirements: 1 At least 5+ years experience as a nanny or ECE (or a combination of both) 2. CPR and/or First Aid Certified 3. Police background check or Vulnerable Sector Check required 4. Ability to work in Canada without sponsorship 5. Valid driver's License. Access to vehicle preferred or otherwise could use ours 6. Available 9am - 5/5:30pm Monday to Friday - sometimes may be later the odd day but can agree in advance 7. Fluent in EN 8.
