We are looking for a nanny to help care for our 1-year-old boy on Mondays. I work from home, my husband travels and works from home as well and we have a 4 yr old daughter starting kindergarten in September. We do anticipate she may be home sometimes due to kindergarten germs and would need a nanny to help care for her too. We also have a blind Maltipoo dog who where we will need this nanny to take our dog out in the backyard for potty breaks. Ultimately, the ideal nanny would have an ECE background, CPR & First Aid Certified, background check, be comfortable with in-home security, kind mannerisms, positive/conscious behavior management for our kids, prepare meals, play and read, engage our child (not just put on the TV for them :), put him down for naps, help with house chores such as laundry, dishes, kitchen, and house tidy up, mop, sweep, and prepare dinner. This candidate would be kind, loving, engaging, positive, warm energy, open to feedback and requests about how we prefer things to be done, and take initiative and not be reminded of what to do. Also reliable and consistent with schedules as I run 2 businesses from home and it would affect me if they frequently call in sick. Looking for someone to start on Monday, September 5th (or any Monday in Sept) and stay long-term with our family. There is a chance for additional hours per week based on our growing needs.
