Looking for someone to come take care of our eight year old special needs little boy for 10 to 20 hours per week throughout the summer. If you have availability at least 10 hours per week and are interested we’d love to hear from you. We are very flexible as to schedule but once you commit to a schedule we need reliability as we both work. Come September, our little boy will be back in school so the schedule will change but you can stay on if you wish as we will still need approx. 8 hours per week at that point. Approximately 85 per cent of the time is to play with our little boy (stimulate him, help him with his exercises, feed him, sing to him). He loves being sung too and is very sweet and docile. Our focus is on keeping him active - crawling, walking, vocalizing etc. He is fed by gastric tube but no special experience required for this as it is easy to learn. We are looking for somebody patient, fun and happy, punctual, dependable, who doesn’t mind singing (no special singing ability required). The other 15 per cent of the time is on minor household chores like keeping the kitchen clean and playing with his 10 year old sister. Social insurance number is required.
