We are looking for an experienced temporary nanny to help with our 7 month old baby and to carry out basic household duties starting Sept. 3, 2018. We live on a ground floor unit of a triplex located in Villeray, Montreal, 5 minutes from Crémazi or Jarry metro stations. Dad will be going to work everyday and Mom is getting over a back injury and will mostly be at home recovering. She is unable to lift or carry the baby. Baby is a happy, healthy, and very active boy hitting all his development milestones. We are looking for a energetic and stimulating nanny who is also caring and loving. The nanny would be responsible for taking care of our baby, including: feeding, napping, playing, reading, walking, etc. We also ask that the nanny help out with some tidying, laundry, grocery shopping (Provigo is a 5 min walk away) and meal prep while the baby is sleeping or playing/out with Mom. Mom hopes to play an active role in the baby’s daily routine but is limited due to her back pain. We require care Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 5:30pm and the occasional Friday. This position is for the month of September and potentially October, depending on how fast Mom recovers. Occasional hours will be needed in the future. There is also the possibility to live in our fully furnished basement unit which includes a queen bed, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room area, and a private entrance.
