We are looking for a warm, active person to care of our kids, ages 9, 8 and 6 after school (M/Tu/W/Th) and/or one weekend morning - total of 10 hrs/wk. Our eldest is a kind boy with Down syndrome who is non-verbal and enjoys going to the park & playing with his siblings Experience with w/ special needs is a plus, but not necessary if you are someone who loves kids and can support our family with a pair of helpful hands (one parent will usually be home). The other two kids are in Gr 1 & 3. Position is paid at $19.27/hour + vacation pay by Emploi Service Quebec (need SIN or work permit). Located at Sherbrooke / Mariette. I work from home and my husband is our stay-at-home parent, so someone is typically around and would be making dinner or possibly running errands or taking one kid to an activity.
