Looking for a long term Nanny in Outremont (Montreal) for 2 babies: 19 months and newborn.

We are looking for a nanny with experience with young children. You will have to take care of our 19 months old baby and of our upcoming newborn baby du in a few months, in addition in taking charge of the entire house duties. we are looking for someone dynamic, autonomous and flexible. Work schedule Full Time Monday to Friday: 8h - 18h (10hr/day) Regular week schedule: 3 to 5 days Average minimum hours guaranteed of 40 hrs./ week Salaries and Benefits 15$/hour 2 weeks paid vacation, legal holidays Main responsibilities: We are looking for a nanny with experience with young child, to take care of our babies and of entire house duties: • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children; • Taking care of their affective and physical needs (dressing, bathing, changing diapers, feeding, placing the children down for naps and bedtime, etc); • Insure their hygiene (physical, cleaning up after meals, tidying and cleaning play areas, washing bottles, etc.); • Supervise the children’s activities at all times; • Plan and provide age-appropriate activities and play with the children, both indoors and outdoors in order to insure their global development; • Teach the children good social manners, potty train the children and discipline the children when necessary; • Respect parents’ requirements and instructions; • Keep a logbook of activities and health event of the baby. Household Management Tasks • Picking up around the house • Doing parents' laundry • Washing bed linens and towels • Preparing family's dinner (when possible as per baby) • Organizing closets and kitchen cabinets when needed • Watering indoor plants Job Qualifications and Requirements Technical requirements: • High school graduate • Authorization to work in Canada • Experience caring for children (newborn and young age kids) • Training in early childhood education preferred • English and/or French proficiency Personal requirements: • A loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children, able to do activities with them in order to stimulate their education and learning. • Reliable, patient, honest and discreet. • Show initiative, maturity and resourcefulness • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision • Ability to communicate with the parent as to respect the requirements and give updates. • Physical ability to care for a young child
