Skills/Qualifications Required: - Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter - Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages - High school diploma or equivalent - Post-secondary education in child development or Early Childhood Education (ECE) considered an asset - Fluent in English - Eligible to work in Canada - Valid Driver’s Licence (own vehicle an asset) - CPR and First Aid Training - Criminal Record check (Vulnerable Sector check) - Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage our child - Passion for working with children - Patient, loving, warm, kind - Strong organization and problem solving skills - Excellent communication skills Responsibilities/Duties: - Ensure the health and wellbeing of our toddler - Follow our daily schedule including nap and meal times - Ensure an overall safe environment and provide an environment for safe play and learning - Diaper changes - Light meal preparation for breakfast, lunch and snacks (mostly assembling meals/warming food) - Light housekeeping - Plan and implement daily activities - Provide a verbal update/debriefing to parents of the days activities at days end (and during the day as requested) Start date: ASAP References: Must provide 2 professional references To apply for this position, please email your resume to: ***@***
