Our current nanny is moving away in June and we are now searching for her replacement. We are seeking a caring, patient, reliable and experienced nanny to take care of our two daughters (ages 2.5 and 4.5). This is a long-term full-time position and an opportunity for the right person to integrate with our family. Our 4 year-old attends JK at a local school and our 2 year-old is at home full time. Duties include: - Getting breakfast ready each morning, helping get the girls dressed then taking a brief walk to the school bus stop (then picking up our daughter at the school bus stop in the afternoon). - Provide structured play, singing, dancing, learning etc. for our 2 year-old throughout the day. - Planning outdoor play in our backyard or at local parks (walking distance) or the library (also walking distance). - Preparation of snacks and lunches. - Light housework such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, sweeping, dusting, general tidying up etc. Working hours are 7am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (i.e. 40 hours per week over 4 days with Wednesdays off). However, a successful nanny candidate must be able to work 7am to 5pm on Wednesdays in February, May and June (occasionally on other Wednesdays of other months as well). Hourly rate is $16. Preference will be given to experienced applicants who have CPR / First Aid training, Peel Police background check, references and lives nearby.
