I am seeking part time or occasional care for my 9 month old daughter. We are open to care at our home or going to your location if you are nearby (we're located in North London) and have the right kind of set up for caring for an infant. Hoping for one day a week (One Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or a Friday). Irregular days are fine! Just one a week please! :) We would prefer someone who speaks English OR French. Bonus if you can speak both as our family is bilingual. I am on maternity leave however we do not have a lot of family support so I am hoping for part time care, one day or a half day a week, to give me some time to do things like cleaning, going to appointments, engaging in hobbies, etc. My fiancé's work schedule is highly irregular so it has been difficult or impossible to even do things like go to an appointment for myself. An ideal window of time would be about five hours. At most I would ask for maybe around 10 am to 4 pm. I am very flexible. In our home, we would not require you to clean or make baby food or anything complicated. I am simply seeking relief for infant care: playing with toys, feeding (bottle, food pouches, solids or snacks), diaper changes, watching her play independently, reading, and getting her down for naps. I make most of my own baby food and have breastmilk pumped + freezer stash. I might even like to be home during your shift, so I can get some things done around the house or engage in hobbies. I am really quite desperate for some assistance as my fiancé works a LOT! If we are going to your location, I can provide just about anything you might need to care for her for the day, including bottles, food pouches, books, dishes/cups, toys, a play pen, diapers and wipes, baby food, pumped milk, etc. I am hoping for someone qualified in infant care, ideally certified in CPR/First Aid, with previous experience working with infants. I am also interested in references if you have them. I am open to the idea of her being with other infants or children around her age provided there is enough supervision for all the children. If there are pets in the home I would like to know ahead of time please. If you are interested I would love to get to know you and spend some time with our little one to see how she adjusts to having someone else care for her. Of course we would pay you for your time spent meeting us. She's very bright, chatty, and loves to crawl around and pull herself to standing. Her favorite toys are crinkle squares, a pop up toy, wood blocks, and anything with lights. Her favorite foods are pears, peaches, carrots and peas. She loves peekaboo. She also loves being outside on a blanket watching the birds and squirrels in the yard. For the most part I would say she plays independently very well - she likes to have a secure base to feel safe and help her when she's trying new things.
