I am a working professional and a semi-crunchy mom, actively seeking a patient, enthusiastic, and deeply engaged individual to look after my 14-month-old daughter. This live-out, part-time role requires taking care of my little one thrice a week, mostly in the mornings: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for less than 20 hours per week.
Your most important role will be to keep her engaged through play, reading, and craft activities. There will be no room for distractions like mobile phones or television during work hours as maintaining a screen-free environment for my daughter is a matter of utmost importance. Apart from this, your responsibilities would include preparing meals for her and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen post meal preparation.
You would not be required to undertake duties such as cooking for the rest of the family, cleaning the house or any other household chores unless they pertain to the little one's activities or meals.
Experience in childcare is strongly preferred and an interest in caring for children is essential. Along with this, a valid driver's license is necessary and you can have access to our family car for use on the job. You should also have your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. For the safety and well-being of my child, I would be willing to pay for a Criminal Record Check (CRC) and a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) before you start.
This arrangement could change depending on the circumstances but as of now, this is our immediate requirement, hence we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
If you find this role suitable, your patience, commitment, and ability to bond with children could be invaluable to our family. Looking forward to your positive response!
Best,
Lynsey
