We are a family of three (+ dog) requiring a nanny (part-time during school year, full-time in summer) for a bright, inquisitive, kind, energetic and fun seven-year old girl with a great sense of humor. Our ideal candidate will be an individual who is trust-worthy, loving & kind, positive, energetic, confident, reliable and can demonstrate dependability though background checks, references, and proven performance. During the school year we require before-and-after care in our home including drop off at school in the morning and pick up from school in the afternoon as well as some fuller days to align with early dismissals and school Pro-D days. During the summer break we require all day care in our home (5 days per week) with the exception of vacation time and long weekends etc - with which we can be flexible. Primary responsibility will be for the care of and positive interaction with our daughter. Some light housekeeping (vacuuming a couple of times per week, tidying up etc) as well as preparation of school snacks & lunches, and transportation to some after school activities and summer day camp activities may also be required. One parent commutes daily to downtown Vancouver from south Langley and the other is home office based but travels intermittently throughout Western Canada and the U.S. Our schedules vary greatly and can be very flexible at times.
