We are looking for a home support worker to help us with our son, who has physical and intellectual disabilities. He is non-verbal and is developmentally around a toddler age. He is kind, fun and easy to work with. • Successful candidate would need transportation to Komoka for the job. • Rate of pay would be discussed, based on education and work experience. • Numbers of hours required – 30 – 40 hours per week, depending on availability of applicant Specific responsibilities include the following: - Provide personal support care at a residential house - Provide care and companionship for our son - Support with bathing and personal hygiene - Support with eating and meal preparation - Assist with routine health-related tasks like changing briefs - Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing and making beds - Perform housekeeping and other home management duties under general direction of employer - Additional responsibilities as requested and mutually agreed upon-
