We are seeking a part-time nanny for our two children on Mondays and Thursdays from (3 pm-5:30 pm) and Fridays (8am-5:30pm). About Our Children: 16-Month-Old Female Our daughter is a very easygoing, happy baby. She is silly, curious and adventurous and loves being outside. She is not fully walking yet, but is almost there. 6-Year-Old Boy Our son is in grade 1. He is smart and creative and loves learning and experimenting and playing outside. He loves arts and crafts, playing games and knows every single dinosaur that we can't even pronounce. About Us: I am in marketing and public relations and divide my work week between an office and at home. My partner is a graphic designer and works full-time from home. We use a Montessori approach with our children, offer minimal screen time, enjoy healthy foods and snacks, and are a mostly vegetarian family. About the Role: We are looking for someone who can pick up our kids from daycare and school on Mondays and Thursdays (both next door to each other) and walk them home. We live a few blocks from both locations. Our daughter requires a quick 30-minute nap when she gets home because she doesn't nap at daycare. While she naps, my son has a snack and then often goes outside to play with his friends who live next door. They are quite independent outside, but you will need to keep an eye on them. Once our daughter is up, she requires a snack and some quiet playtime or outdoor time. Our son usually comes in at around 5 pm to watch a bit of tv and we would like some light tidying up done before we both finish work. (put toys away, load dirty dishes in the dishwasher, etc) On Fridays, our daughter is not in daycare so we require someone to be at the house at 8 am. She still takes two one-hour naps, one at 9:45 a.m. and one at 2:30 p.m. (There have been signs that she will be going down to one nap soon.) She will require two snacks and lunch which can be prepared in advance for you. We would like someone to take our daughter on walks, go to the park, play in the backyard, do puzzles, do arts and crafts, read books, etc. Our son needs to be picked up from school at 3:00 p.m. and walked home. (Our daughter can stay at home to finish her nap since my partner works from home). We require someone as soon as possible. We'd like to do a few trial days and have you officially start on November 2. We can offer $20/hr and we would like a police check. We looking forward to meeting you!
