Professional couple is seeking a kind and energetic nanny to care for our two children - boy age 5 and girl age 3. This is a full-time, live-out position at our home in SE Calgary (Fairview). The primary responsibility of the nanny will be to provide a safe, loving, fun and nurturing environment where the children can thrive and grow. The primary responsibilities of the position include picking the children up from preschool each day; preparing healthy meals and snacks; supervising nap/rest periods; planning and undertaking play, educational and outdoor/physical activities and field trips; tidying and general clean up related to children; implementing daily routine; providing appropriate discipline; occasionally running light errands. Both children attend preschool Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 11:15. Normally, the nanny will pick the children up from school and care for the children until 5:30. During the summer and school holidays, the schedule will be 8:00 to 5:00. The ideal candidate for this position will be kind, caring, creative and energetic. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with proven childcare experience; valid driver's license and clean abstract, police check. Preference given to individual with Early Childhood Education or similar.
