Looking for a full-time nanny to take care of our six-year-old daughter and four-year-old son. Our daughter will need to be taken to school daily during the week and three days a week our son goes to preschool in the mornings. We like to schedule other events for the children such as going to the library, local parks, play dates, and the zoo. Both of our children are very energetic and enjoy crafts and spending time outside. Our daughter likes fairies, princesses, art, and music. Our son likes construction, police cars, and fire trucks. Both enjoy reading. We try to focus on eating healthy and developing their learning and creativity rather than spending time inside watching TV. Work hours will be flexible as our work schedules are not fixed every week; we will try to have the schedule finalized at least one month in advance. Housekeeping work will also be a primary responsibility with both kids in school three mornings each week. This will include cleaning, preparing meals, doing laundry, and running errands. Applicants should expect to work on a contract basis and handle their own tax, EI, and CPP contributions. You can expect several weeks off each year. We will propose a contract for each of us to sign which makes salary, vacation, sick days and other items clear and fair for both parties. We are looking for a nanny who can join us as part of the family, attend events together, and be an active participant in raising our children. A criminal record check is required as well as a drivers abstract/record, license, and a reliable vehicle is a MUST. Full time applicants only please.
