*Burnaby-based family is presently seeking an experienced live in Nanny to care for their two toddlers. Family can apply for immigration if required. But Individual must already be in BC. We are a professional couple seeking a full-time Nanny for our two daughters 2 and 4. We are located in North Burnaby in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by trails, parks and easy access to transit. Responsibilities would include all aspects of toddler care and instruction as well as running occasional errands, dinner preparation, and household chores as necessary. The successful applicant will be a hard worker, conscientious, very organized, very clean, have excellent attention to detail, experience with toddlers, and a positive and friendly disposition. Also essential as well as infant/child CPR (which can be obtained after the interview if necessary) is that the candidate is vaccinated. We try to live a very healthy lifestyle and are a very health conscious family. We have zero tolerance for smoking, vaping or drugs. We have a Pet Free and Smoke free household. We have a brand new house and the Nanny will have her own private room and bathroom. We are looking for someone long term and full time to be a part of our family. We can apply for any immigration paperwork if required. Must be able to work weekends, and work split shift get children ready for school in the morning, Clean then afternoon there is a break then tend to them afterschool until bed time. Specific Skills: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; prepare children for rest periods; tend to emotional well-being of children; supervise and care for children; prepare and serve nutritious meals; bathe, dress and feed children; instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; and organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Additional Skills: Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties; assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; as needed, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; and shop for food and household supplies. Run errands drop and pick up children to and from daycare and other activities. Driving and swimming are a huge asset. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience required. CPR, FIRST AID, And Preference given with nursing or care aid background Experience: 1 year of childcare or related experience is required.
