We are a young family looking for part-time help with our two children on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We recently had a baby, who will be four months at the time that I will be returning to work (September 12th). I work from home as an interior designer for a firm. We also have two dogs, Piper and Blue, who are super friendly but would require some pets and to be let out for bathroom breaks here or there throughout the day. They are medium sized dogs, a beagle x cocker spaniel and a cocker spaniel x cavalier. Our requirements for our children would be as follows: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8 am - 4 pm Morning - taking our daughter Harlow to kindergarten up the road (9:15am start), we live within 10 minutes walking distance of the school (Mountain Elementary). Prior to this making her a quick breakfast or packing a lunch may be required depending on the day and what time she sleeps until, as well as getting her dressed and ready for the day. Daytime - Caring for our four month old son, Sutton. At the moment I breastfeed him, but I have built up a freezer stash and am able to pump and he takes a bottle well. We follow basic age appropriate wake windows with him and base his naps around that, so at the moment it varies from day to day. We have some great age appropriate toys that he loves, and we have a stroller available for walks. Afternoon - Picking up Harlow from kindergarten at 2:45 pm and bringing her home. Once home it would mainly be unpacking her school/lunch bag, and making her a snack. Sometimes we will allow her a little screen time in the afternoon after school if she's needing some quiet time, again it all depends on the day. You are not required to clean our house, but just keep the areas that are being used tidy. Ideally we'd love to find someone who could use Suttons nap times to prep Harlows after school snack, begin dinner prep for us, or let the dogs out. Of course one of his naps should be reserved as a break time for yourself as well :) I should also note: I am back to work September 12th, so we are needing someone to start at the latest on that date. My hope is that with the right candidate, we could have someone come for a couple of days the week prior so we can show you the ins and outs of our household and all get acquainted and be sure it's a good fit for everyone!
