I have always had a passion for caring for those in need. I knew early-on in my post-secondary education that I wanted to pursue my desire to care for others. Since graduating from College, I have gained extensive experience in working with people from all different backgrounds with various health needs and from different age groups. Through various working environments, I have learned that having a kind heart, listening ears and a peaceful presence goes a long way in home care. I previously worked in a memory care unit of a retirement home, I have worked as a pediatric PSW for children with complex medical needs for just over 5 years and and additionally, I worked in home care for just over 4 years (with a specific focus on palliative patients).
