I am currently a student in Oulu, Finland studying Animal Assisted Pedagogy. In short, this means I am the middle man between humans and people. I work with animals and help them learn how to be of assistance in schools, care homes and libraries. I work with people helping them learn how to properly handle these animals when they are at work. I have thoroughly enjoyed this and it has been nothing but pleasant having the opportunity to combine two things I love. Growing up I was a frequenter of the BCSPCA summer camps with a burning passion for animal welfare. This has continued into my adulthood and I spend anytime I can doing similar things in an adult capacity. As I will be leaving my own animals in Finland with my boyfriend while I am in Canada it would be fantastic to have the chance to interact with you and your pets!
