I’m an artist with a deep love for working with children and supporting them as they grow into themselves. I’ve worked in several care roles over the years, including as a care assistant in a long-term care home, which taught me patience, presence, empathy, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are.
I truly value creating a safe, nurturing space where children feel free to explore, express themselves, and learn how to exist in community with others. I’m passionate about children’s education - not just academically, but emotionally and socially- and I find so much joy in helping kids build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. I believe every child thrives when they feel seen, supported, and encouraged to follow their natural interests.
I’m an easy-going, adaptable, and hardworking woman with a very calm presence. I bring steadiness and warmth into the spaces I’m in, which helps children feel grounded and at ease. Growing up, sports were a big part of my life, and I played university basketball for three years while completing my degree in Fine Arts. That balance between creativity and physical activity has shaped who I am- well-rounded, disciplined, playful, and expressive.
Because of this, I love supporting children in whatever lights them up, whether that’s art, movement, sports, quiet play, or imaginative exploration. My goal is always to help children feel empowered to be themselves while learning how to care for and connect with others.
I have a genuine love for working with children and several years of hands-on experience in both group and home settings. I worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, where I supported children through fun, creative, and structured programs. My role involved building trusting relationships with the kids, encouraging positive social interactions, supporting emotional development, and creating a safe, welcoming space where every child felt seen and cared for.
Alongside this, I’ve done several babysitting jobs, providing one-on-one care in family homes. I enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and interests, and I love engaging them through play, art, storytelling, outdoor time, and gentle routines. I’m attentive, patient, and calm, and I always aim to create an environment where children feel secure, supported, and free to be themselves.
Caring for children feels very natural to me, I value connection, consistency, and kindness, and I take great care in supporting families in a way that feels thoughtful and reliable.
