As a proud single mother, I have had the sole responsibility of raising my only child from the very instant he took his first breath in this world. I've seen him grow and evolve, navigating every stint of his development single-handedly, devoting my whole heart and soul in ensuring my son received the best upbringing possible. I also deeply love and enjoy indulging in a myriad of activities that spur my creativity and stimulate my curious nature. Arts and crafts hold a special place in my heart, and I find immense joy when I am working on different craft projects or letting my imagination run wild while coloring. Besides bringing my creative visions to life, I also have a deep-rooted fascination with nature's expansiveness. Engaging in long walks that let me absorb the radiance of the environment, embarking on adventurous hikes over challenging terrains that test my tenacity, or simply basking in the glory of new experiences breathe life into me. One of the most gratifying aspects of my life is my love for children. Whether it's playing with them, understanding their unique personalities, or assisting them acadically as well as emotionally, I find great passion and fulfillment. The pure, unadulterated joy blinking in their innocent eyes as we engage in various activities is a sight that warms my heart every single time. In addition to my fervor for children, I am equally fond of all kinds of pets. I have always harbored a unique talent for interacting and caring for various animals. Whether it's a furry little kitten, a lively dog, or a colorful parrot, my unconditional love has always welcomed pets into my life, a pet's good nature reciprocates my affection ten-fold. I helped take care of my niece, as well as raising my almost 3 year old son by myself.

I grew up playing sports- which pushed me to work with others and to be very interpersonal. Due to this, I believe that my career aspirations lie in a relational or social area. Not so much a customer service job but connecting with people in an area of mental health or social support. I have found working alongside children to be a great way of using my skills. I really enjoy connecting with people, especially children. I believe this stems from my early placement in sports and continuing engaging in high level sports for 18 years my life. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 14 from retail to food-service. I’ve been a nanny/babysitter since I was 13. I have a niece (3 y/o) and a nephew (1 y/o) that I absolutely adore and I’ve nannied/babysat for many years. Have had multiple babysitting/nannying jobs. Had the opportunity to teach children with learning disabilities how to skate (aged 4-10). Currently going into fourth year of Child and Youth Studies. Have a 3 year old niece and 1 year old nephew I have lived with in the past and had the opportunity to care for.

My name is Aleesha. I am here because it has always brought me joy spending time with and taking care of children. I do not have any of my own but I have spent many years caring for children of numerous ages from newborn and up. I was raised with two younger siblings who I cared for quite often. I love being outside taking walks or finding an activity to do. I also love art, music, cooking and baking. My availability varies as I currently work in a daycare as well. I am a 25 years old Georgian-Canadian. I am currently in Humber College for the social work program. I love animals and nature. I speak in Georgian and English. Also, I speak a bit of French and Russian. I love to bake and cook. I worked as a nanny for a newborn when I was 16 years old. I was helping his mother for two years. I have 21 years younger brother who's now four years old and I was actively taking part in raising him. I am was always great with children and always loved spending time with them. I am married to my husband for 11 years. I speak some French and Spanish. My hobbies are hiking, gardening, reading, writing and cooking.
