Hello, I'm Annalisa, affectionately known as Jana to those closest to me. As a proud single mother of three wonderful boys from the Philippines, my life is a beautiful blend of nurturing both at home and in my career. With a background in practical nursing, I bring a wealth of experience in patient care, complemented by over a decade of dedicated service in customer relations. Balancing the responsibilities of raising my boys and excelling in my professional endeavors has taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of providing attentive care in every interaction. I'm a recent graduate of Practical Nursing with relevant work experience of at least 3 months in a medical institution setting. However, I was a personal caregiver to my 90 year-old grandmother for over three years before I left our hometown for Canada. I'm currently seeking opportunities enabling me to apply my knowledge in patient care and nursing. Prior to shifting my career in healthcare, I also paved my way up in the customer service industry for over a decade. I'm passionate about making a positive impact on the well-being of others and committed to providing personalized, high-quality care. Some fun facts about me: I have 3 children and 5 furr babies, 4 cats and 1 labrador whom I adore. I love going for trails and I consider myself a seasoned hiker in the Philippines. I love kids and I can do little bit of hosting for kids' parties. Please send me a message if you'd like to know more and I hope we can connect in some ways. :) 2-year Practical Nursing / 4-year Bachelors in Mass Communication / Healthcare Services II

Hi I am Jane, Please text/call or email me I'm not able to see full messages or send a message without upgrading my account. I have been babysitting since I took the Red Cross Babysitting course at age twelve. I grew up with three siblings so I babysat my little brother and his friends for years. I looked after a four year old boy for two and a half years before moving to Victoria. When taking care of Lake I helped with his developmental set backs by specializing in Child-Led play; as well as outdoor activities and lots of indoor games. I also prepared meals and did light cleaning around the house. During this time I also did part time care for an 18 month old until he was three. Before coming to Lakes family I did part time childcare for a two year old until he was six. I would take Emmett to the park, play with him indoors, put him to bed and stay over night. I have had many other short term nanny jobs through out the years and have experience taking care of groups of five to ten children for the Nelson Waldorf School. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. :) My most recent position was with a four year old with autism for two and a half years before moving to Victoria. During that time I also did part time care for an 18 month old until he was three. I started babysitting a couple times a week after I took the Red Cross Babysitting course at age twelve, for a two year old. I was with his family until he started going to school full time when he was six. I also did summer and short term childcare for children of various ages. I went to a Waldorf School K-8 and to the local high school.

I am 31 years old, widowed, a mother of a 7 year old boy. During my teenage I am not like other who spent time with peers. I stayed longer at home helping my mother taking care of my youngest siblings.I am trustworthy and patient when it comes to children.I know how to deal with their tantrums and I know how to raise children because it is my long time encounter with my siblings. We are 10 siblings in the family, I am the 4th from the eldest and I am the first born girl. My siblings have one year gap in age that's why during the early times every other year my mother get pregnant. I am the one who help her in taking care of my youngest siblings. I feed them, giving a bath, watch over while they are playing, make them sleep during bed times, cleaning their feeding bottles, and many more. When I got my own child, it became easy for me to take care of him because I already experienced how to do such things. Even though I did not have a job experience in becoming a nanny I have my own personal experiences to do their duties and responsibilities. I am a mother now and I know how being a mother feels like a nanny.

I am an active and energetic person that enjoys dancing, being outside, going on hikes and engaging in community programming. I use a play based approach to care and will always meet the child where they are at. I have been working in a variety of child care settings for just over 7 years now. I started as a caregiver to a child with Cerebral Palsy. During this time, I had the privilege of working alongside the child's physiotherapist. I observed their appointments, implemented the suggested exercises through play and daily activities, and provided feedback in regards to any relevant changes that occurred between sessions. I watched the toddler develop, overcome obstacles, and gain confidence through inclusion in community programs. This opportunity undoubtedly reinforced my passion for working with children of all abilities. I am extremely passionate about creating a connection with a child and their family first, then learning new and fun ways to achieve the goals outlined by the therapist! I have worked as an Educational Assistant in a preschool setting and in additional programming sessions (one on one/small groups). In this position, I followed IPPs closely and worked within a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, I have worked as an Assistant Team Lead and a Preschool Teacher. I worked with children with diverse needs as well as neurotypical children in a classroom setting. I used children’s IPPs and preschool curriculum to guide my planning in the classroom. I am currently working as an educational assistant in the school district with high complex needs kids. I would love to hear more about your child(ren) and answer any other questions you may have for me!
