I am a 19-year-old South Asian female who is currently a Personal Support Worker (PSW). I was raised in a joint family where my grandparents were diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, diabetes, arthritis, and dementia. I used to care for them, ensuring they ate their meals and assisting them with walking. During that time, I gained an in-depth understanding of how challenging it is for elderly individuals to live with these physical and mental diseases.
