Hi! I’m Estrella , retired teacher from the Philippines. I I’ve been in Canada for 9 years already. I have lots of experience taking care of Seniors. I prepare their meal, grooming, assisting in bathing, change beddings & many more. I’ve handled so far patients with Dementia & Alhzeimer & accompanying at night time patients that need assistance in changing diapers. Cleaning the house, laundry & vacuuming and cooking as well. Sorry to say, I’m not driving. but my expertise is you can trust me in taking care of elders doing all the best I can for them. I have lot’s of experience taking care of Adults with Alhzeimer & Dementia. The first one is the high school teacher man with Alzeimer at his own house. He is easy to get along with where in I took care of him for 3 years. My work with him ended when he was brought at the Nursing Home at Simkin. The 2nd is an 88 y.o. woman with Dementia who was a former Nurse. I am taking care at her house too as full time night time live- in & respites coming on daytime. I’ve worked with her for 3 1/2 years & me stopped because she was brought at the Nursing Home too at Meadowood Nursing Home. I can say that taking care of the 2 Seniors although myself is Senior too, I got an Ace comments to both of my employer regarding my service. I prepare her meals, oversee her medication, do laundry, clean the house and accompany her on her check ups and going to church. Push her wheelchair if she wants to go outside. Bathing and ironing her clothes and linens. Buy her medicine and groceries. Took an online course to support my knowledge in Elderly Care and Caring for the Disabled (Alison)
