Many of them came with some level of anxiety and behavioural difficulties due to whatever traumas they faced before they were rescued. In every scenario I was able to earn the pet's trust pretty easily and all that was left was making sure to adhere to dietary restrictions, being mindful of certain behavioural cues and stressors, sticking to their walk schedules and making sure they felt safe and secure at all times. I've worked with quite a few larger dogs like labradors and german shepherds. I am very comfortable working with bully breeds, even the ones that may seem intimidating or aggressive. I am equally comfortable working with smaller terriers and pinschers. I love all cats. I once cared for a partially blind very recently rescued cat who was very anxious but with a little patience and a lot of love she was, of course, an absolute sweetheart.
