We are looking for someone to provide after school care for my two kids (ages 2 and 5). Time would be approximately 2:45 - 5pm, and looking to do pickups 2-4 times a week (we're flexible on which days of the week, and can be a bit flexible on the time too for the right person). Pick up is in Vic West, and we live in the Gorge area (it's about a 7-8 minute drive from pick up to our house. Looking for someone to start in September 2025. Ideally looking for someone that has a car (we can provide carseats) but we could also provide the use of our car for someone that has a license but no car. For use of your own car, we will reimburse for mileage. Pay is $25-35/hr, based on experience. Please reach out if you're interested. I have two boys, ages 7 and 9 and am searching for a reliable consistent caregiver for a few evenings each month. I’m a solo mom that works mostly from home but attends a few evening/late afternoon meetings or events a month. My needs tend to be over a dinner and putting one or both boys to bed. Typically no earlier than 4pm and typically on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. But someone with flexibility to do different days would be great! My 9 year old has adhd and needs firm (but fun) guidance to get stuff done. Both kids really react best to someone with experience and confidence. They love stories, games and general interaction. Screens are used only sparsely here but are available if needed to make things “easier”. Someone with a vehicle willing to drop off or pick up would be great but I might be able to work around this. Work is typically scheduled weeks and months in advance so lots of notice possible. I really hope to find a regular person to create consistency for my kids.
