My passion since I was a very small child has always been caring and compassion and the well being on all levels and comfort of others and this became my life's work for which I am blessed. I have spent 17 years in the school system working with those with the highest of needs and it has been a great joy to me to offer, by being observant, and getting to know them to learn, about each individual and their wants and needs and providing those in a timely fashion. This is my hearts joy and there is no better feeling than a relationship that most often develops in service to the I dividual regardless of age or abilities. I have often maintained relationships with each over the years. I have worked with youth of all ages and with seniors during off time with dementia and other struggles we find upon our way. As well in a private capacity provided respite for all age groups and abilities. My down time is spent cooking make ahead meals for my daughter who is now finishing her last year of nursing program and planning a summer wedding 2018, I love learning by reading and watching documentaries on a varuety of interests, crossword puzzles, scrabble and lots of drawing and some crafting. My life is well suited to me as I have been on my own for many years and it has been a great period of growth and learning. I am fortunate enough to have a friend who happily shares her 3 grandkids with me. I have actually just finished a month of caring for her grandkids and herself as she ended up in the hospital for quite a period of time. One does what needs to be done and it was fun to be throw back into the what's for dinner, homework chores, laundry etc routine again, once I caught my breath lol.
