I'm Sydney, im 19 years old from Vernon and I live with my parents and little sister, I enjoy outdoor activities, games, movies, music and cooking. I also enjoy housekeeping, assisting with homework, and helping out wherever I’m needed . I haven’t had a full time babysitting position but I have babysat for children of all ages, including those with disabilities, and can manage up to two children at once. I really enjoy children and It’s my goal to make everyday fun for them, I’m also planning on going to college to be an ECE. I’m available immediately for weekday mornings or afternoons. I'm comfortable with live-out, part-time Nanny or Babysitter roles. I also have my own transportation. I’ve never been a full time babysitter but I have babysat many times for anyone who needed it, the duties included making food, changing diapers, keeping them busy playing, playing together, calming them down if they needed it, putting them to bed, etc but most importantly making them feel cared for and happy. I also have job experience cleaning for anyone just interested in that.

I love babysitting and playing with kids. I have the ability to cook and bake, and I can also care for pets and do light housework. I live in Lake Country and would prefer babysitting jobs here, but I am open to further discussion. I have been babysitting my younger sister for about five years and have had many more experiences in childcare. Currently, I do not have a job so I have a significant amount of free time. I also have cats and have owned dogs in the past, enabling me to provide care for them as well. :) I have been babysitting for a couple of years, mostly for family members but I have lots of experience.

My son and I are an active, outdoorsy duo. We participate in many community group play dates like the YMCA and library time. We also attend a local homeschool meetup where families and their children from all ages come together to play, participate in different activities, and enjoy some social time. I am actively engaging my son in montessori/Steiner type learning and activities. When we aren't at a play groups we are outside in nature either on a hike, at a park, or simply playing in our backyard/field. I believe in exposing children to age appropriate activities that allows for curiosity, play, and imagination to unfold. Art, music, nature, games, reading/quiet time... I have a vehicle and full license, with room for one more carseat and an older child in the front. Currently I am employed part-time (1-2 nights a week) and have recently started my own birth care business, as well as caring for another child only casually (a few days a month).
